He is a former professor of Fungal Genomics at Michigan State University, He has a Ph.D. in Botany and Plant Pathology, and an MBA in Leadership Development. He is a brain tumor survivor and an avid endurance athlete. He has completed over 100 marathons and ultramarathons, some at the 100-mile range and 9 Ironman Triathlons. He is the most positive person in the world.
