In business, Bernie turned around a failing grocery store with $700,000 debt and sold it in 2010. Then he turned his attention to those greater passions and wrote his book, Goodology: Personal Development Through Good!

Rosalinda is Executive Director and Partner of Ethical Markets Media, Director of Ethical Biomimicry Finance® and Acting Executive Director for the EthicMark® Awards for advertising that uplifts the human spirit and society. She currently serves as treasurer for the Northeast Florida Green Chamber. What all of these have in common is a focus on ethical behavior across the spectrum whether news, business, finance, research, or advertising. Markets do best when they are also doing right by people, planet, and society. It was her childhood years hiking through Puerto Rico’s El Yunque National Forest that formed her belief that we must engage in sustainable behaviors to maintain the magnificent world we inhabit for generations to come.

He started “Create My Independence” blog as his way of sharing his journey with as many other like-minded people out there as possible. He’s proof that there’s a different way to do things and that we don’t all have to conform to “just the way things are done”.
